CADOTT--May E. (Mrotek) Wojner, 88, of 304 S. Main St., Cadott, died May 27, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Crowley will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Commital services will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friday at the cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott with an 8 p.m. vigil prayer service.

She was born May 1, 1809, in Spokeville, to Clifford and Anna Stevens. She was married to Alex Mrotek on July 11, 1928, in Loyal. He died on Sept. 20, 1971. She was married to Val Wojner on Oct. 24, 1981, in owen.

May attended a country school for eight years after which she graduated from Loyal High School in 1926. She then attended Wausau Business Institute for one year. She farmed in the Loyal area from 1928 to 1958. She moved to Owen in 1959 and lived there until her 1981 move to Abbotsford. She moved to Cadott in 1995. May worked at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, for 13 years.

She enjoyed traveling and visiting her children.

She is survived by her sons, A. Pat (Doreen) Mrotek of Cadott, John (Bernice) Mrotek of LuRay, Va., and Clair (Carol) Mrotek of Stewartville, Minn.; a daughter, Joyce (Eugene) Major of Preston, Minn.; 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by her son, Duane, in January 1995; her parents; and her sister, Alta Lindekugel
