Anderson, Hilda W. (25 MAR 1895 - 8 JAN 1932)

Hilda Wilhelmina Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson was born March 25, 1895, in the town of Beaver, Clark county, Wisconsin and died Friday evening, Jan. 8, 1932. She was united in marriage to Victor Johnson April 15, 1913. By hard work and privations they built up their farm home where they lived now. On January 8th, she prepared for her mothers 69th birthday anniversary, and while cutting the birthday cake suddenly felt a sharp pain in her head. Within half an hour she became hysterical and unconscious and was unable to talk or move a limb. Two doctors were called at once but were unable to give her any relief. At seven-twenty she passed on to the distant shore, thus reaching th age of 36 years, 10 months and 17 days. No one expected death so suddenly, as she never complained of illness or pain, always thinking of others instead of herself. She leaves to mourn her untimely death her husband, her parents, three brothers, William Anderson, Colby, Wisconsin; Arthur and Alfred Anderson, Loyal, Wisconsin. Two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Reichert and Mrs. Arthur Steinke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Church and interment was made in the Loyal Cemetery, Rev. Grandy officiating.

The pall bearers were: Chester Hebert, Herman Litka, Floyd Gardner, Ed. Dobbe, Clarence Miller and George Otto.

In the graveyard softly sleeping,

Where the flowers gently wave

Lies the one who loved so dearly.

In her lonely, silent grave.

The flowers we placed upon her,

May wither and decay,

But the love and respect we bore her,

Will never fade away.
