Schultz, Ervin F. (23 April 1920 - 2 June 1986)


Ervin F. Schultz, 66, of Rt. 1 Unity, Wisconsin, died June 2, 1986, a quarter mile off Hwy. N on Town Hall Road in the Town of Colby. Services were held June 5 at the Rux Funeral Home in Colby, with the Rev. Mark Neumann officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Riplinger.

Mr. Schultz was born April 23, 1920, at Colby. He received his education in Colby Schools. He and Ethel Hardrath were married on Oct. 20, 1951, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Riplinger. He farmed in the Unity and Colby area all his life and also worked at area cheese factories.

Mr. Schultz was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, South Green Grove.

His wife survives, along with two sons, Dennis of Unity and Wayne of Colby; three grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Schultz of Colby; two stepbrothers, Harold Block of Colby and Norbert Block of La Maure, S.D.

A brother and his parents Ernest and Selma (Witte) Schultz, preceded him in death.
