Alexander, Roscoe (26 May 1913 - 1992)

Owen - Roscoe F. Alexander, 78, Whitewater, formerly of Green Grove, died Monday at Fairhaven Residential Facility, Whitewater.

Memorials services will be June 6 at 2:30 p.m. at United Church of Christ, Owen.

Olsen Funeral Home, Whitewater, is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born May 26, 1913, in Mount Hope, to Ernest and Birdina (Ball) Alexander. He married Inez Hardrath April 28, 1937, in Greenwood.

He farmed in Green Grove until 1963 and was employed as a caretaker/gardener in Lake Forest, Ill., until 1975. He moved to the Whitewater area in 1979.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gordon of Roscoe, Ill., and Rodney of Whitewater; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Karen) Hatfield of Marinette; one brother, Walter of Loyal; two sisters, Leora Lange of Milwaukee and Esther Millen of Fennimore; and seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, one son, Caryle, and three brothers.

Memorials to Fairhaven Activities Department of Whitewater Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
