Anderson, Mr./Mrs. George (Gold -10 OCT 1932)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson was the scene of a family reunion Monday, Oct. 10, the occasion being their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Anderson who is 75 years old was born in Hartford, Wis., January 17, 1857. Mrs. Anderson was born in Rubicon, Dodge County, October 2, 1861. They were married in Milwaukee October 10, 1882.

After their marriage they lived near Hartford a number of years, later coming to Neillsville, and 34 years ago moved to a farm, which they purchased one and one-half miles north east of Loyal, where they lived until moving to this village. They have four children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. The children are: Mrs. Ethel Weisner, Montana; Mrs. Otto Weyhmiller, Loyal; Ray of Wausau and Verne of Loyal. Relatives from away who were present were Mrs. Bigelow of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Amidon of Neillsville. Mrs. Ethel Weisner of Montana and Ray Anderson and family of Wausau were unable to attend.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are enjoying good health and it is the wish of their many friends that they live to enjoy many more anniversaries.
