Teter, Cheryl Ann (Marriage - 16 Aug. 1980)

On an eight-day Hawaiian honeymoon are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Edward Patoka, who were married Aug. 16 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha.

The Rev. Jerome Watry performed the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the former Miss Cheryl Ann Teter, 1029-3c Lucerne Drive, Menasha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Teter, Route 1, Owen, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Patoka, 648 Walbrun St., Menasha.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during a ceremony for which Mrs. Kathy Fisher, Menaha, was singer/organist.

She had a white satin A-line dress with Chantilly lace and veil and a cascade of white carnations and yellow roses.

Michelle Teter of Spencer was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jenise Teter, route 1, Owen, Miss Judy Tomkowiak, Marshfield, Miss Kay Patoka, Madison, and Linda Patoka, Menasha, bridesmaids. They had baby blue A-line dresses with chiffon floral print crepe and nosegays of white carnations with light and dark blue silk flowers. Flowers were arranged in their hair.

The wedding party included Nick Patoka, Menasha, best man; Larry Hren, Robbie Patoka and Gary Swanson; all of Neenah, and Steve Patoka Jr., Menasha, groomsmen; Greg Lindner, Marshfield, and Gary Rasmussen, Neenah, ushers; Carrie Jahnsman, flower girl; and Keith Jahnsman, ring bearer.

The reception, dinner and dance were at Sabre Lanes, Menasha.

The bride, a 1974 graduate of Loyal High School, graduated the following year as a medical assistant from Mid-State Technical Institute Marshfield and works in that capacity at Nicolet Clinic, Neenah. Her husband, who lived at 648 Walburn St., Menasha, before marriage, is a printer at Wisconsin Tissue Mill, Menasha. He is a 1972 graduate of Menasha High School.

They will reside at the bride’s address.
