Schmidt, Christine R. (11 OCT 1860 - 20 Apr 1929)

Christine R. Walkert was born in Germany, Oct. 11, 1860 and died at Marshfield, Wis., April 20, 1929. At the age of twenty four years she came with her parents to American and settled at Sabula, Iowa.

She was united in marriage with Peter Schmidt in Sept. 1888. To this union two sons and a daughter were born. The daughter dying in infancy. On Nov. 3, 1909, she came with her husband and sons to Willard, Clark County, Wis., where she resided until her death.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and two sons, Harry and Hans of Willard, Wis., besides other relatives and friends.

She was a good, kind wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her family and neighbors.

Funeral services were held from her home at Willard Wednesday afternoon, Rev. E. Pfeiffer officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
