THORP - Anton "Tony" John Rogus, age 72, of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died March 25, 2003, at Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation.
No services will be held.
He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Thorp, the son of Joseph and Josephine (Saga) Rogus. He was united in marriage to Frances Kmieciak in September 1954, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. They later divorced. He was employed as a farmhand by Johnny Trybula and also sold seed corn. He retired in the late 1980s.
Survivors include his four children, Robert (Tami) Rogus of Thorp, Ronald (Linda) Rogus of Neillsville, Evelyn (Jamie) Furrer of Wausau and Richard Rogus of Thorp; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; and three sisters, Kathern Lato of Thorp, Frances Karmowski and Sophie Letvinuck, both of Chicago.
