Dear Stan, Oh, my God!! This is my Great-great-grandmother. I have been trying to find her death certificate since 1984. Thank you a million times. Who are you and how did you find this? I have written numerous times to the county clerk and health dept. in Wisconsin to find the death certif. They can't find it. Do you know if one exists? I even had people walk around St. Hedwigs cemetery looking for the head stone with no luck. Please write back. I am descended from Rose and Joseph Konwinski.

Susan, My wife and I are using our retirement years to post historical and genealogical information for Clark County, Wis. on a non-profit internet site. We are going through the old newspapers for the county, which are carried on micro-film at the Wiscconsin State Historical Society in Madison. Even though we live in Rochester, MN we can order the micro-films through library loan from Madison. I am currently transcribing old obituaries and marriages from the Thorp Courier.

It is amazing how many of these old obits and marriages are of interest to folks. I am glad this one was helpful to you! I do not have anymore information about Catherine.

Thanks! Stan Schwarze
