There seems to be considerable sickness in and about town, principally typhoid fever

R. Dewhurst and Daniel Gates have determined to pay a visit to the Pacific coast in the coming spring. It is their intention to leave here about the first of May, and to be absent about four months, making the principal part of their visit in Washington Territory, where a number have already emigrated to from Clark county. They go simply to see the sights, with no intention of deserting Neillsville. May buy a little pine land if it comes in their way, just from force of habit, but will not stop to log any. Joseph Biter also intends to take a similar trip in the spring.

.Mr. C. Williams, of Loyal, has bought the stage line between that place and this, of Mr. Graves, who proposes to emigrate to Washington Territory in the spring. Mr. Williams is now making four trips a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and during the session of court will fun a daily stage for the recommendation of the many who will have business here. Mr. Williams will keep the line up in First-class shape, furnishing comfortable vehicles and making good time.
