Gunder Eide passes Away

Gunder Eide, was born in Norway, October 17, 1858 and passed away at Wm. Marden home on Saturday, April 29, 1939 after an illness of four years duration. He had reached the age of 80 years, 6 months and 12 days.

Funeral services were conducted at the Shiller Funeral parlors on Wednesday, May 3, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. A.E. Norson officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Longwood cemetery. Mrs. Albert Dahl and Mrs. Louis Behrens sang "My Faith Looks Up" and Rock of Ages".

Mr. Eide is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helga Rasmussen of Withee and a son who lives in the west and a brother Harry Eide of Neillsville.

The pallbearers were Harry Hogue, Elmer Stafford, Art Sischo, Gabe Ketchpaw, Frank LaBonte and Simon Schwarze.
