Leatherdale, Amos (3 JUN 1865 - 13 Dec 1914)

Amos Leatherdale, who was instantly killed Sunday Dec. 13, 1914 by a kick from a horse, was born June 3, 1865 at LeRoy, Dodge Co., Wis., where hr resided for many years before coming to Clark County, Wis. He was married to Miss Baker at Loyal and for several years has made his home on a fine farm near Spokeville, Clark County. At the time of his death he was 49 years, 6 months and 10 days of age. He leaves to mourn him his wife, 5 children, his father, L. Leatherdale of our village, a brother, A. Leatherdale of our village, and a sister in Canada.

The funeral was held last Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Balthasar's Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating, and the body laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.
