Hrach, Lawrence P. (13 November 1908-9 July 1983)

NEILLSVILLE-- Lawrence P. Hrach, 74, of 615 W. 7th St., Neillsville, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Re. Wally Anderson, of Living Hope Evangelical Free Church will officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be R.H. Sollie, Fred Wall, Arthur Ackerman, Mark Randolph and Jeffrey Schuelke.

He was born November 13 1908 in the Town of Weston, to Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand (Catherine Aumann) Hrach, and received his education there. He farmed with his parents fir several years and then moved to Neillsville, where he worked as a carpenter and did construction work. He retired in 1973 because of ill health.

He married Alice V. Ballard November 22, 1956 in Waukon, Iowa. She survives along with a step-daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Schuelke of Two Harbors, Minnesota; a step-son, Julian Anderson of Marshfield; a sister, Margaret Hanson of Milwaukee; 13 step-children; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three sisters and a brother.
