Kehrberg, Clara (Marriage - 26 Sep 1917)

A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Kehrberg last Wednesday evening Sept. 26, 1917, at 8:30 o'clock when their daughter, Miss Clara Kehrberg and Mr. Edward Schaeffner were united in marriage, Rev. Thom of Marshfield performing the ceremony.

The bride was attired in white georgette crepe and carried roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by her sister Miss Hattie Kehrberg as maid of honor and Miss Johann Scheffner as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Mr. Fred Zipfel as best man.

The house was prettily decorated with roses, ferns and autumn leaves. Following the ceremony an elaborate supper was served to the immediate family.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Kehrberg and is a lady of many accomplishments.

The groom is the son of Mrs. P. Schaeffner, and is well known here, having been brought up on a farm in this vicinity. He is a successful and prosperous farmer.

Mr. and Mrs. Scheffner left for a wedding trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and Kenosha, and they will be at home to their many friends on the farm south of the village, after Oct. 15th.
