Castner, Ethel L. (Marriage - 12 NOV 1919)

A pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Castner, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, Nov. 12, 1919.

The contracting parties were Miss Ethel L. Castner and Mr. Henry Boe, Rev. Chatterson of the Methodist Church performed the ceremony. The house was prettily decorated for the occasion in yellow and white. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Frona Castner as bridesmaid, and the groom by his brother, Mr. Leslie Boe.

The bride was becomingly attired in a navy blue broadcloth suit and carried white roses.

After congratulations the bridal party and guests, which included immediate relatives only, enjoyed a fine wedding breakfast.

Mr. and Mrs. Boe left the same day for a wedding trip to Minneapolis and Eleva, and will later be at home at Manitowoc, Wis.

The bride is very well known here (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), having lived here the most of her life. She is a graduate of our local high school and of the Oshkosh Normal, and has been a successful teacher for the past six years. The groom, although a stranger to us, is well spoken of and has been in the service for a year.

The guests in attendance from away were Mrs. Boe, Miss Sophia Boe and Mr. Leslie Boe, all of Eleva, Wis.

The Tribune joins with many friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Boe a long and happy life.
