Krasselt, Elsie H. (Marriage - 18 Augl 1920)

Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 18, 1920, at 2 o'clock, at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Veefkind, Clark County, Wis., a very pretty wedding took place, when Miss Elsie H. Krasselt, daughter of Mr.a nd Mrs. Ernest Krasselt, of the town of Sherman, Clark County, became the bride of William R. Luchterhand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luchterhand of the town of Loyal. The ceremony was performed by Rev. B. F. Matter, pastor of the church.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with an overdrape of georgette, and her veil was caught in cap effect. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas.

The maid of honor, Miss Vera Krasselt, sister of the bride, wore a gown of pink crepe de chine and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Elsie Luchterhand, sister of the groom, wore blue georgette over blue satin and carried a bouquet of pink roses. George Krasselt, brother of the bride and Alvin Luchterhand, brother of the groom, attended the groom.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal party, accompanied by the respective relatives and a few immediate friends, went to the home of the bride's parents, where a large reception was held.

Mr. and Mrs. Luchterhand will depart Friday for Minneapolis and other points in that state and upon their return will be at home to their friends at the farm home of the groom in the town of Loyal.

The young couple is from very prominent families of this community and have a large circle of friends who will be pleased to extend congratulations. (Spencer, Wis. Record)
