Mais, Anna M. (2 OCT 1878 - 4 NOV 1919)

Mrs. Paul Mais of the town of Unity, Clark County, Wis., died at her home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock on Nov. 4, 1919, of pneumonia, after an illness of but five days.

Anna Mary Huber was born at Beaver Dam, Wis., Oct. 2, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Huber. On Oct. 25, 1905 she was united in marriage to Paul Mais, of the town of Unity, at Beaver Dam. They settled down on the farm shortly after their marriage, which has been her home up tot he time of her death.

A few years ago before her marriage she came to Colby, Wis. and held the position of lady clerk in the general store of G. N. Schultz. While holding this position she became well acquainted with many people in this vicinity and in the course of time her fine disposition and courtesy toward all gained her many lasting friendships. During her married life she has been a true and faithful wife and mother, and always ready and willing to be of help to others. She will be sadly missed by a host of friends who deeply sympathize with the sorrowing ones she leaves to mourn her.

The deceased is survived by her husband and five children, Loretta, Adina, Marie, Beatrice and Hubert, besides her father and four sisters and two brothers.

The funeral will be held from St. Mary's Church in this city Friday morning, Rev. H. Lachnit officiating, the burial to take place in the Colby St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
