Bryan, Shirle Ann (5 May 1940 – 18 February 2022)

Shirle A. (Struensee) Bryan, age 81, of Tullahoma TN died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601

Born Shirley Ann Struensee, May 5, 1940, in Neillsville, WI. Daughter of Joseph Struensee and Mildred (Strebing) Struensee. Graduated Neillsville High School Class of 58. Moved to Chicago and married in July of 1959.They had three children. She loved Cooking, gardening, plants, birds, and doing little projects she thought up herself. She moved with her family to Glendale Heights, IL. in the mid 60’s. Soon after she took a job with Western Electric which became part of AT&T. In the mid 70’s she moved to West Chicago IL. She remarried in January of 1975. Had one additional child. She retired in 1993 and moved to Tullahoma, TN.

She is survived by her first husband Harry W. Rozenski, two of their children; son, Walter Rozenski daughter, Debra (Rozenski) Stingley, her son from her second marriage John W. Bryan, her brother Warren Struensee and his wife Mary Jane Struensee, half-brothers, Floyd Struensee, and his wife Carol, and Darrell Struensee, sister-in-law Lois Struensee, sister in-law Erdine Payne, step-brother Jarome Schroeder. Shirle is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Shirle was preceded in death by her son, Harry W. Rozenski Jr. passing at the young age of two years old, her second husband John D. Bryan, her parents, Joseph Struensee and Mildred (Strebing) Struensee, her brothers; Richard, Dale, and Robert ”Bob” Struensee, her sister, Alice (Struensee) Zelasko, her half-sister Carol (Struensee) Kasun: nephews, Joey, Donald, Scott and Daniel Struensee, Step-mother Evelyn (Zuelke) (Schroeder) Struensee, step-brothers; Harvey, Donald, and James Schroeder, step-sister Geraldine (Schroeder) Flegner.

A special thank you to the staff of Creekside Village for the special care they gave Shirle during her stay, and to Melissa of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma.

She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery River Grove IL. on Monday February 28th at 9:00 a.m.
