Luchterhand, Henry (30 Dec 1900 - 16 May 1925)

Another sad death occurred in our community Saturday morning when Henry Luchterhand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Luchterhand, passed away at the Marshfield Hospital after he had been operated on for appendicitis. He had been ill five days. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 19, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. Kirchhoefer officiating, and interment made in the Unity Cemetery.

The deceased was born in 1900 and reached the age of 24 years, 4 months and 17 days. He was married to Hilma Kobs, daughter of Mr.a nd Mrs. Julius Kobs, Oct. 22, 1924. He was a young man of excellent habits, fine moral character and had many friends who will miss his departure to the undiscovered country.
