GEORGE C. LAHN Funeral services for George C. Lahn, 78, of 1011 Weiner Drive, Albion, Michigan, who passed away at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 1978 at Albion Community Hospital after a serious illness of three months, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 with the Rev. W.E. Lauterbach officiating. Interment was in Albion Memory Gardens. George C. Lahn, son of Frederick and Helena Frank Lahn was born December 13, 1899 at Fairchild. He married Amelia L. Sperber at Winona, Minn. January 25, `926. Mr. and Mrs. Lahn made their home in Albion, having come there in 1926. Mr. Lahn was worked at Malleable Iron, as well as operated the Standard Oil Station on Austin and Eaton for 27 years until he was injured during a robbery. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Lahn preceded him in death December 24, 1975. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Adeline A. Lahn of Albion; one brother, Carl L. Lahn of Fairchild. His sister, Mrs. Arthur (Clara) Erdman passed away Sunday morning October 15, 1978. Two brothers and two other sisters also preceded him in death.
