(Marriage - 31 Augl 1929) Miss Hattie Young,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Young of this city (Colby, Wis.),
was married to Henry J. Gorde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Gorde of
Sheboygan, Saturday, Aug. 31, 1929, at the home of the bridegroom's
parents, the rev. Ernst Stoeckhardt, pastor of the Ebenezer
Lutheran Church, reading the service. The bride wore a
beautiful green georgette dress and a corsage bouquet of roses and
ferns. Her sister, Miss Frieda Young, and the bridegroom's sister,
Miss Frieda Gorde, acted as bridesmaids. They wore frocks of peach
and rose georgette and carried gladioli. The bridesmaid was
attended by Anton Hederer and Christ Ruper, both of Sheboygan. A
reception followed the ceremony. The newly married
couple is now at home to friends at 809 Seventeenth St., Sheboygan,
Wis. The bride has many
friends here who are interested in her marriage and wish her
