ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 09/17/1915 McAdam, Ada I.
(Marriage - 14 Sep 1915) A pretty wedding
was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas McAdam, at Withee, Clark County, Wis., at 8 o'clock on
Tuesday evening, Sept. 14, 1915. The contracting parties were Miss
Ada I. McAdam of Withee, and Mr. Harry Probst of this city. Rev. W.
H. Sargent was the officiating clergyman who tied the nuptial knot
pronouncing the ceremony, which united the lives of theses
estimable young people. The wedding was a very quiet one. Promptly
at 8 o'clock the young couple took their places where the minister,
with an impressive yet simple and exceedingly pretty ring ceremony
made them husband and wife. The bride was becomingly attired in
green crepe dechene and with the bridal roses looked the very queen
that her life characterizes her to be. The groom wore the
conventional black. After congratulations and an evening most
pleasantly passed in a social manner, the groom took his prize to
their home here, which he had furnished throughout and which needed
only her queenly presence to complete it. The next morning they
left for a short wedding trip to the northern part of the state and
will be at home to their friends here after Oct. 1st. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
