Peter Heintz of Unity was a visitor at the county seat Friday last.

Miss Floy Burt went to Oshkosh Monday to attend the normal.

H. Cook of Unity, registered at one of the hostelries in this city Friday last.

Miss Nellie Hungerford of Nasonville, has been engaged to each school at Dorchester this term.

David E. Stewart of Greenwood, attended the leap year ball in this city, Wednesday evening of last week.

Jack Free moved his planning and shingle mills to Greenwood the first of the week, where he intends to locate.

H. D. Eyerly, who has been confined to his rooms nearly the entire winter, was out on the streets and down town last week for the first time since his sickness. We are all pleased to see the old gentleman able to be out once more.

Anton Unger, the shoemaker, formerly in J. B. Jones shoe store, has rented the barber shop building south of John Klopf’s saloon where he will hereafter be found, and requests all customers to come and see him in his new quarters.

Pat Ford, who has been night clerk in the Stanley house at Chippewa Falls for some time has resigned his position in favor of Vick Pierelee, and arrived in this city Monday for a short visit with friends and to renew his acquaintance with his sweetheart here.
