Louisa (Sempf) Eggett Mrs. George Eggett died at her home between Greenwood and Loyal Friday, August 7 (1903), from kidney disease with which she has been a sufferer for several years past.

Louis Sempf, deceased’s maiden name, was born in Richland County April 25, 1871, and came with her parents to Clark County when she was a young girl, living near Greenwood. Eight years ago last spring she was married in LaCrosse to George Eggett. To this union one son was born and besides this she and her husband adopted a child last spring. Besides the husband and children she leaves a widowed mother, Mrs. Christina Sempf, who lives northeast of Loyal, and two sisters.

The funeral was held from the Methodist Episcopal Church in Greenwood Sunday afternoon her pastor, Rev. W. E. Kloster, officiating. Internment took place in the Greenwood Cemetery. The stricken husband and relatives have the sympathy of a large acquaintance.
