The Rev. Jim Lesczynski officiated at the Saturday early afternoon, January 10, wedding rites for Barbara Jean Krultz and Steven J. Koschak. The services were held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Selvian Krultz, Rt. 3 Greenwood, who gave the bride away, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koschak, Rt. 1 Willard.

Serving as maid of honor was Bonnie Krultz, a twin-sister of the bride from Greenwood. She was joined by Jan Krultz, another sister of the bride from Greenwood, and Sandy Krapf, a cousin of the bride from Greenwood.

Blaine Hendrickson, a friend of the groom from Willard, was bestman. He was joined in the groom’s party by two other Willard friends, Brian Hendrickson and Pat Herrick. Ushering were Gary Krultz, a brother of the bride from Greenwood, and Francis Koschak, a brother of the groom from Santa Monica, California. Also assisting in the wedding was David Krultz, the bride’s brother from Greenwood.

Serving as ringbearer was Jimmy Meyers, the groom’s nephew from Eau Claire, while Traci Krultz, the bride’s niece from Greenwood, was flower girl.

Included in the service were special music selections offered by Leianne Gregorich of Willard, accompanied by Jackie Meyers of Eau Claire.

The bride chose a Qiana gown which featured a corded Rachel lace bodice fashioned with a Queen Anne neckline and full bishop sleeves. Her skirt extended into a full chapel train and was accented by a back peplum edged in matching lace. She carried a nosegay arrangement of burgundy roses, white carnations, stephanotis and baby’s breath, completed by white silk streamers.

The bride’s attendants wore gowns that featured a lace design, blouson top, circle neckline, cap sleeves and full burgundy-colored, Qiana jersey skirts. They wore matching silk ribbons in their hair and carried nosegays composed of burgundy roses, white button pom-poms adorned with burgundy lace.

The groom chose a tan tuxedo with an ivory, ruffled shirt, brown bow tie and sported a burgundy rose boutonniere. His attendants wore brown tuxedos, ivory shirts and boutonnieres of an ivory carnation.

Following the nuptials, a dinner reception and dance was held, all at the parish hall.

The new Mrs. Koschak is a 1980 graduate of Greenwood High School and is currently attending UW-Marshfield majoring in nursing. Her husband is a 1973 graduate of the same high school and served three years in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. He now farms in the Willard area. The couple will make their home on Rt. 1 Willard.
