Bogue, Leota (Marriage - 19 Sep 1925)

An early autumn wedding of much importance took place on Saturday morning of last week at 10 o'clock, when Miss Leota Bogue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Bogue of Withee, Clark County, Wis., became the bride of Mr. George Gerber of this city. The wedding ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents, and was witnessed only by their immediate friends and relatives. Rev. W. F. Grandy of the Methodist Church of Withee, officiated. The young couple was attended by Miss Doris Clifton, a friend of the bride, and Mr. Sidney Jacobsen of Curtiss.

Following the ceremony a bountiful wedding dinner was served to the friends and relatives present, after which the young couple left for a two week long wedding trip to Watseka, Ill., the former home of the groom.

Miss Bogue for the past two years has taught school in the rural districts near Withee, and in her work made many friends. She is a young lady of fine personality, and her quiet way has won for her a lasting friendship with those who she has met.

Mr. Gerber is a part owner in the City Meat Market, and while a new resident of the city, has become acquainted with many in his business transactions. He is a young man of high standing, and will make his mark in the business world.

After their return home from their trip to Illinois, they will be at home to their friends in Owen, Clark County, where they have a home already furnished on Fifth St. Their many friends here and at Withee, join with us in well wishes for a happy wedded life.
