Bergstrom, Florence (Marriage - 19 Dec 1925)

A pretty church wedding was solemnized Saturday afternoon, at the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee, Clark County, Wis., when Miss Florence Bergstrom, daughter of Mrs. Edward Bergstrom, became the bride of Mr. Charles Purgett, a resident of the town of Hixon, Clark County, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Purgett. The young couple was attended by Mr. Harvey Bergstrom, a brother of the bride, and Miss Lucy Purgett, a sister of the groom. Only immediate relatives of both families were present at the ceremony.

Following the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Purgett went to the home of the bride's mother, where a bounteous wedding dinner was served, after which a reception was held. The young couple is spending the week visiting among their friends and relatives, after which they will be at home on the farm of the bride's mother.

Miss Bergstrom for the past three years has been employed afternoons in the offices of the Owen Canning Co., and the forenoon of each day she acted as bookkeeper for the Withee Cooperative Creamery Co.. she is held in high esteem by all who knew her and in these positions made many friends.

The groom is a young man of high standing and for the past two years has been assisting his father with work on the farm. Their many friends wish for them a happy voyage through life together.
