Larsen, Anna (6 JAN 1870 - 13 NOV 1927)

Mrs. Jorgen Larsen, a resident of the town of Longwood, Clark County, Wis., residing one and one-half miles south of Withee, died at the hospital at Chippewa Falls, Sunday, and her body was brought home the following day.

She had entered the hospital about a week previous to her death, where on Thursday she had submitted to an operation for gall stones. Following the operation influenza set in and on Sunday she passed away.

She was fifty-eight years of age, and has been a resident of this vicinity for the past fifteen years. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her departure, two sons, and three daughters, all of who were called home for the funeral.

Mrs. Larsen was a lady of high character, and was a devoted member of the Danish Lutheran Church. She was prominent in her social circle and those who knew her best, knew of her good words and deeds. She will be missed not only in her home but by those with whom she was associated most.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Danish Lutheran Church, Rev. Peterson officiating and burial took place in the church cemetery.
