The arm bouquets of the attendants were of shaded pink carnations. They wore matching headdresses of curled pink and blue ostrich tips, with pearls completing their attire.

The groom proceeded to the altar, with the bride, wearing a dark blue pin stripe suit, with a white carnation boutonniere. Leonard Bruchert, brother of the groom, wore a blue conventional business suit. The bridegroom's other attendants, Arno Borkenhagen, brother of the bride, and Floyd Engelbretson, formerly of Withee, wore dark blue suits. The attendants had white carnation boutonnieres. Kenneth Rheignas, nephew of the bridegroom, wearing dark blue, carried the rings to the altar on a heart shaped pillow of satin and lace.
