Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Sharon Younker, Norwood, Minn., formerly of Abbotsford, to Ronald Franklin Rueth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Rueth, route 1, Loyal, Monday, July 5.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Reuth are making their home at 311 S. Vine St., Marshfield.

The bride, who has been employed at Karau’s Super Market, Marshfield, was graduated from the Abbotsford high school in 1962.  Her husband, a graduate of the Loyal high school, is employed at Spencer Sports Products, Spencer.

The ceremony took place at St. Anthony’s Catholic church at Loyal at 1 p.m. with the Very Rev. Norbert E. King officiating.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white satin gown with rounded neckline, semi-sheath skirt and train attached to the waist.  A satin pill box held her bouffant veil and she carried an arrangement of red roses.

Apricot peau de soie semi-sheaths with bustle bows at the back and matching headpieces were worn by the bridal aids who were her sister, Mrs. Verlyn Pockrandt as matron of honor, and Mrs. Larry Rueth and Miss Audrey Olsen, all of Loyal, as bridesmaids.

Diane Pockrandt of Loyal and Brenda Brandt of Greenwood, her nieces, were miniature brides.

Verlyn Pockrandt was best man and Larry Rueth and Tom Elsinger, all of Loyal, were groomsmen.  Dennis Younker of Norwood and John Rueth of Loyal were ushers.

Festivities of the wedding day included a reception at the Pockrandt home and a 4:30 o’clock supper at St. Anthony’s church hall.

Guests attended from Minnesota and Illinois, Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester, Stratford, Pittsville, Medford, Shawano, Thorp, Greenwood, Marshfield, Loyal, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Wausau, Park Falls and Hawkins.
