Vircks, Dennis F. (Special Forces Training - SEP 1966)

Private First Class Dennis F. Vircks, son of Mrs. June Vircks of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), has completed his second phase of Special Forces Training.

Vircks and the graduating members of his class are now in the advanced S.F. Communications Course.

PFC Vircks has been in S.F. training since April. He completed his first phase of training in June and earned his Green Beret. Since then he ahs completed the S.F.'s basic communications course.

The advanced phase, which he is in now, will last for three more weeks, after which he will begin the fourth and final phase of his training. Upon completion of his training he will be assigned to a special forces operational group as a S.F. Communications Specialist.

After completing all of his training, PFC Vircks will probably be on a mission to Vietnam about March of next year.
