Miss Diann Molle, Unity, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Molle, became the bride of Richard Shefchik, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Shefchik Sr. on April 26 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

The Rev. Norbert King officiated at the nuptial Mass.

As the bride was given in marriage by her father, she wore a gown of net over satin styled with a lace bodice, a Sabrina neckline, long lace sleeves and full skirt. Her veil was finger tip length. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Arthur Gregory, Watertown, who wore a pink gown fashioned by a chiffon bodice and a skirt of lace over taffeta. Bridesmaids were Miss Nan jean Ebert, Loyal, Miss Betty Peterson, Milwaukee, and Miss Sue Demuth, Milwaukee. They wore dresses similar to the matron of honor’s in pale blue. All carried nosegays of roses and carnations tinted to match their dresses.

Arthur Gregory, Watertown, was best man and groomsmen were Milton Molle, Unity; Elmer Shefchik, Loyal; and Richard Oestreich, Loyal. Ushers were Milton Molle and Arthur Gregory.

Following the ceremony a dinner and reception were held at the home of the bride’s parents. A dance at the Colby Pavilion followed in the evening.

Mr. Shefchik attended the Loyal High School and is engaged in farming. The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School and has been employed in Milwaukee. The couple will make their home in Loyal.
