Williams, Mae (21 Feb. 1880 - 26 June 1968)

Rites Held for Mrs. Mae Williams

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. today (Friday) at Georgas Funeral Home on Fifth Street for Mrs. Mae Williams, age 88, who died at Memorial Home Wednesday, June 26, 1968. The Rev. W. C. Koehler, pastor of the United Church of Christ officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

The former Mae Neverman was born Feb. 21, 1880, at Neillsville, and was educated in Clark County. As a young woman she worked in the millinery trade in Iowa and Indiana.

She married in 1922, at Glendive, Mont., to Stanley Williams who preceded her in death. She returned to Neillsville in 1946 and had been a resident of Memorial Home the past three years.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Alice Flynn, Neillsville; Mrs. Viola Skewis, Tacoma, Wash.; and Mrs. Clara Minta, Indianapolis, Ind. Three sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death.
