Naumann, Mrs. Marie H. (Marriage - ?)

Mrs. Marie H. Neumann, S. Cedar Ave., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hake of Curtiss became the bride of Carl J. Schmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmitt Sr., of Spencer, at a Nuptial High Mass read by the Rev. Edwin Knauf at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock.

The bridal couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Binder of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boneske of Waupaca.

The bride and her attendants were attired in suits with the bride choosing a navy blue suit complemented with navy and white accessories. Her corsage was a white orchid. Mrs. Binder, sister of the groom, was matron of honor and wore a charcoal gray suit accented with navy accessories with a corsage of pink tea roses. A beige suit accented with brown accessories was worn by Mrs. Boneske, sister of the bride in her role of bridal aide. Her corsage was of Talisman roses.

Both the mother of the bride and the groom wore navy blue ensembles and had corsages of gardenias.

A breakfast was held for the bridal party at the Hotel Charles with reception and supper held at the home of the bride’s parents in Curtiss, Wis. A wedding dance was held in the Spencer Municipal Hall that evening.

The bride who is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High School and the Milwaukee School of Beauty Culture is the owner of a local beauty shop. The groom, who attended Marshfield Schools, is employed by Swift and Company in Marshfield. The couple will reside at 1101 S. Cedar Ave.
