Goodman, Ann, Make-It-With-Wool (Winner - 1984)

Taking a top place finish in a regional Make-It-With-Wool fashion contest was Ann Goodman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goodman, Neillsville. Ann earned a third place and an “excellent” ranking in construction of her all-wool garment. Lois Corey of the high school home economics department served as Ann’s advisor. The competition was held in Marshfield.

Wade Johnson, son of Richard and Gloria Johnson, Rt. 1 Merrillan, has been promoted to the rank of Marine Lance Cpl. He is serving with the Marine Barracks in Washington D.C. Wade is a 1983 graduate of Lincoln High and entered the Marine Corps in September of that year.
