Tanck, Wilhelmine (14 SEP 1825 - 16 JAN 1901)

Died, at the home of her son, Charles Krueger, in the town of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., on Wednesday, Jan. 16th, 1901, Mrs. Wilhelmine, in the 76th year of her age.

Wilhelmine Groth was born at Forkenhagen, Province Brandenburg, Germany, Sept. 14th, 1825; in 1846 she was united in marriage with Fred Krueger, who died about four and one-half years later, to them was born two sons and one daughter, the latter dying at an early age; some time later she was again united in marriage, the husband being Gottfried Tanck, with whom she lived about 25 years when he died; in 1886 she came to America and has since made her home with her son, in the town of Green Grove.

The funeral was held from St. Paul’s Church in Green Grove, on Friday, Jan. 18th, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
