Steinwand, Mary (6 MAY 1901)

Married, at St. Gabriel’s Church, Prairie du Chien, on Monday, May 6th, 1901, Mr. William M. Garrity of Prairie du Chien, and Miss Mary Steinwand of Colby, Clark Co., Wis.

The bride is the daughter of Ambrose Steinwand of the town of Colby, and is one of the best young ladies of this section. She counts every acquaintance a friend and her acquaintances are many, as she clerked for a long period in the store of A.H. Booth & Co., and then later when it came into the hands of G.N. Schultz.

The husband, of course, we are unacquainted with, but if Mary thinks him THE one, that settles it. The happy couple arrive here Tuesday noon, and have been busy since their arrival receiving congratulations, and the Phonograph says, "may you live long and prosper, bless ye my children."
