Below is a "Going Out of Business" notice which ran in the Colby Phonograph 11 May 1905 for Fred Bredemeyer's Dry Goods Store. It read, "Having disposed of my stock, the transfer to take place about June 1st, in the meantime to reduce my stock of Youth's Boys' and Children's Suits, and Dress Goods; I offer them at Greatly Reduced Prices. Do not pass this up for if you do you will be the loser, for we have many other bargains to close out., F. Bredemeyer, Colby, Wis."
