Longwood Man Seized as Bad Check Passer

Oscar Bradstad, 30 years old, Longwood, was arrested Sunday morning by Hal Richardson, sheriff, at the request of Eau Claire officials who charge him with passing worthless checks. However, since he was turned over to the Eau Claire police it develops that Bradstad did not confine his activities to Eau Claire alone but is wanted in Marshfield and Neillsville, Wis. He is accused of cashing worthless checks at Wagner’s Tavern, Kelley Brothers Fireplace and R. H. Welsh.
