Rodman, Birdine (Marriage - 20 May 1935)

David L. Phillips and Miss Birdine Rodman were united in marriage Monday, May 20, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Longenecker, Mr. Longenecker officiating. They were attended by Mrs. Martin Fiern and A. B. McCune. Other witnesses were Mrs. Ed. Wahl, Mr. and Mrs. Leavitt Phillips and son and Mrs. Josephine Phillips, mother of the groom.

The groom’s parental home is in the town of Hendren, where he has lived and worked for a number of years. During the war he was in the army as a member of the Spruce Production Corps in the State of Washington. His father Lewis Phillips is deceased.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rodman of the town of Washburn. She graduated from Neillsville High School and from the teachers training course in 1933. The past year she taught in Worchel School in the town of Seif.
