Candidates for town offices are not very plentiful as yet.

Come and have a good laugh at the Free Concert, all this week.

Delicious homemade bon bons and chocolate creams, at E. L. Snyder's.

A car load of new spring goods arrived at the Garrison Mctle Co's store last week.

A number of ladies of Thorp have organized a dramatic society, and will soon appear before the public.

District attorney, Geo. B. Parkhill went to Neillsville on Sunday to be present at the opening of court on Monday.

The reduction which is made on Goods at the Chicago Store will remain in force until all the goods are sold...........Wm. Piske

Peter Durand, of Stanley, who has been operating a camp north of here for the N.W.L. Co., broke camp on Saturday last.

It will be necessary to use five ballot boxes at each of the polling places in the town of Thorp and Withee at the coming election.

Town treasurer E. R. Wiley of Withee and C. Tiedeman of Thorp are making their returns of taxes to the county treasurer at Neillsville this week.

Do not fail to attend the free concert, all this week, at Hipke & Gerbing's hall. Reserved seats 10c, and you get a chance on an elegant prize each night.
