Heim, Andrew (? - 14 JAN 1910)

Postmaster Blanchard is in receipt of a letter from Valentine Heim of Hilbert, announcing the death of his brother, Andrew Heim, which occurred at Mendota on Friday, Jan. 14th, 1910.

He asks information as to what became of his personal effects here (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.) if he had any, as he had made his home in this place for some time before he was sent to Mendota. Andrew Heim was a single man and lived in this part of the state for many years, working at different points up and down the line, and when not at work, made Colby his headquarters.

Last summer his actions became such that a petition was made to the County Judge to have him examined for his sanity, which examination showed him insane and he was duly sent to the Mendota Hospital by Judge Schoengarth, where he died on the 14th of last month.
