Eggebrecht, Hilda (7 JUL 1909)

The St. Johannes Lutheran Church in the town of Wein, Marathon Co., Wis., at three o’clock Wednesday afternoon, July 7th, 1909, was the scene of a pretty wedding, when Rev. F.A. Schiemann, the pastor, spoke the sacred words uniting Mr. Frank R. Schmirler and Miss Hilda Eggebrecht in the holy bonds of matrimony. The bridal pair were attended by the Misses Laura Eggebrecht and Clara Schmirler and Messrs. Sam Eggebrecht and Will Riechel.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony the guests drove to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Eggebrecht, in the town of Frankfort, Marathon Co., where a bounteous wedding supper was spread and the usual festivities, enlivened with excellent music by the church band, were enjoyed by a gathering of over three hundred relatives and friends until the small hours of the next morning had commenced to grow larger.

Both bride and groom are well known people of the town of Frankfort, and have the best wishes of a host of relatives and friends. They were the recipients of many beautiful presents.

Frank and Hilda will go to Dana, Canada, to reside on Frank’s farm, and the Phonograph will keep them next to the doings of relatives and friends here in the home of their birth.
