Miss Anna Zager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zager, Willard, and Matt Merlak, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Merlak of the Town of Eaton were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, Tuesday, Oct. 6th at 8 a.m. A sister of Mrs. Merlak, Anna Zager and Emil F. Mech were married at the same time. The Rev. John V. Trinko performed the ceremonies.

Those attending Mr. and Mrs. Merlak were Miss Irene Zager and Richard Rakovec.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown, with a white train and a veil. She carried a bouquet of lilies and roses.

After the ceremony, dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening a wedding dance was held, which was attended by a large crowd.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlak left Wednesday for a trip to Chicago, returning to Loyal Monday where they have gone to housekeeping.. Mr. Merlak has been engaged in the shoe repair business in Loyal for the past six months.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the newly weds in extending best wishes for a long and happy married life.
