Ziala (Zay), Karol (1885 - 7 AUG 1935)

Karol Ziala (Zay on obit), 50 died at his home at Reseburg, Clark Co., Wis., on Wednesday last, Aug. 7, 1935, of leakage of the heart.

Deceased leaves to mourn his untimely demise, ten children, Mary, Wanda, Joe, Virginia, Florence, Genevieve, Johnny and Stanley, two married daughters, Kathryn and Sophie of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Frank Bator of Chicago, and one brother, Andrew Zay of Stevens Point; also one grandchild.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 o’clock a.m., Aug. 10th, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating, burial taking place in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Frank Bator and family, Mrs. Louie Kapecki and family, Mrs. Anna Tumaszewic, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Pawlak and son Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lucas, all of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zay and family of Stevens Point, and Stanley Smolen of Withee.
