Horban, Mona C. (20 JUL 1932 - 1 DEC 2005)

Mona C. Horban, 73, of Marshfield, died Thursday Dec. 1, 2005 at her home.

Mona Horban was born July 20, 1932 at Lublin to Alex and Antonette (Baernat) Zasczurynski. She was a graduate of Gilman high school and the College of Cosmetology at Woodstock, IL. Mona married Donald Ogurek in 1950, and he died May 26, 1965. Mona married Walter Horban June 6, 1967, and they moved from Chicago to the Marshfield area in 1970. Survivors include her husband, three children, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandson, and four sisters. Mona was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Donald Ogurek, two brothers and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic church in Thorp on Monday Dec. 5th, 2005. Burial was in Holy Family Catholic cemetery at Stanley. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, assisted with arrangements.
