Czyzewicz, Kathryn (12 MAY 1935)

Frank Czech and Kathryn Czyzewicz were united in marriage Sunday, May 12, 1935, at 5:00 p.m. at Cicero, Ill. The pastor of Holy Mary, Queen of Heaven Catholic Church of Cicero, Ill., performed the ceremony.

Attending the couple were Theodora Wojcik, niece of the bride, and Raymond Andel, nephew of the groom.

The bride and bridesmaid each wore pale pink rough crepe, floor length gowns with a white corsage for the bride and orchid for the bridesmaid. The accessories were white picture hats, gloves, shoes and beaded bags.

The groom wore a light gray suit, pale blue tie and white gardenia, while the best man matched the suit, but wore a pink rose bud instead.

After the ceremony the bridal couple and guests all went to the Clyde Community Hall of Cicero for an elaborate reception. A sumptuous dinner of spring chicken was served to about seventy guests. Mrs. Chas. Czech sister-in-law of the groom, who took charge of the reception, deserves mention for her excellent culinary art. The "Thos. Kosatka Orchestra" of Cicero, furnished splendid music. Some of the talented folks entertained by singing on the "mike." The dance team of Harriet Tengler and Fritz Harski of Chicago, gave a wonderful demonstration of an Apache Dance. Food and liquors were plentiful and of the best. It was early morning when the caretaker came to take charge of the place and folks still loathed to leave.

The newlyweds received many beautiful gifts which they expect to use in their new home at Cicero, Ill.
