Miss Alice Boie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Boie, and Millard Timlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Timlin of Stanley, were solemnly united in the holy bonds of matrimony at Stanley on Tuesday, Oct. 29th, 1935, at 8 o’clock. The best man was Harvey Boie, brother of the bride, and the bridesmaid was Marie Vandehey.

The bride was beautifully dressed in an ankle length gown of wine chiffon, velvet with silver accessories and carried Talisman roses and white sweet peas. Her maid of honor wore an ankle lenth gown of violet crepe and silver accessories. She carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill roses and white Pompan chrysanthemums.

The groom wore a suit of oxford grey as did his best man.

The groom’s occupation is farming. The newlyweds will live on the groom’s farm.

Among the out of town guests attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lokrantz of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Fred Henning of Sharon, Mrs. Ray McNeil of Clinton, James Timlin of Jump River and Mrs. Phillip Frese of Gilman. A wedding dance was given in honor of the newlyweds at the Thorp Opera House on Tuesday evening.
