Guralski, Gertrude A. (Senefski) (8 AUG 1918 - 26 OCT 2013)

Gertrude A. Guralski “G.G.”, 95, formerly of Hatley, was born to a new life in Jesus Christ, Saturday October 26, 2013, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.

Her earthly life began August 8, 1918, in Menasha, as daughter of the late Ben and Clara (Kozlowski) Senefski. She was united in Marriage to the love of her life, Clarence Guralski Sr. on August 8, 1942, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. She now is reunited with him in their heavenly home as Clarence preceded her in death November 17, 1992.

Gertrude's focus in life was her husband and children. She reveled in the delight that comes from being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Their visits brought smiles and sunshine to her heart. The grandchildren fondly remember her knack for finding four leaf clovers with ease. Through the years, Gertrude enjoyed many interests and among her favorites were fishing and camping with family. Gertrude had been a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley and their Rosary Society.

Survivors include three children, Beverly A. (Ron) Yach, West Plains, Missouri, Clarence (Lois) Guralski Jr., Schofield, Mary Lou (Clark) Wolfe, Irma, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Thorn, Rothschild and Louise Guss, Milwaukee.

Her grandchildren are, John P. (Cindy) Ostrowski, Dover, Minn., and family, Mattie & Megan; David L. Ostrowski, Merrill and his children, David & Danielle; Ann Marie (Jay) Schroepfer, Birnamwood and son, Hunter; Jeff (Christine) Guralski, Wausau and children, Nicole, Kody, Kyle, Kelly, Nathaniel & Andrew; Jeanette (Adam) Martinez, Schofield, and children, Amber & Alexis; Jacilyn (Kevin) Hoppa, Rosholt and children, Cassandra & Ryan; Julie A. Wolfe and son Noah; three great grandchildren, Noah, Autom & William.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Jason, Tracy & Travis, one brother, Raymond Zenefski and one sister, Marion Wachtl.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 30, 2013 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Roy Witucki will preside. Gertrude will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Weds. from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish rosary Tuesday at the Sixth Street funeral home.
