Finder, Fred Carl (17 Feb. 1892 - 17 Dec. 1962)

Attack Fatal To Resident Of Neillsville

NEILLSVILLE - Fred Finder, rural Neillsville, died unexpectedly about 2 p.m. Monday while fishing on the Black River just north of Hatfield. Robert Lullof, Clkark County coroner, said death was the apparent result of a heart attack.

Fishing in the same area with Finder were Harold Holub, Charlie Hubing, Bab and Paul Jacob, all of Neillsville, and Oscar Erickson of Hatfield.

The men said that Finder had appeared to be alright until he toppled from the stool on which he was sitting. They said they tried artificial respiration and at the same time summoned help.

The body was removed to the Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis.

Assiting the coroner in the investigation was Sheriff Ray Kutsche.
